Coach Chavis must have learned how to get off the field on 3rd down!
Chavis 2015 D is ranked 27 spots higher in 3rd down efficiency than the D he left behind!

He's pretty smart. He figured if he never let Bama get to 3rd down his efficiency would be a lot better. Solid gameplan executed to perfection

To be fair 3rd an Chavis only applies when the game is close in the 4th and Chavis gives up scoring drives to lose.
What no one will admit is that this has already happened 3 times this year and ASU, Arkansas and MSU were all shut down in the 4th quarter when the games were close.

It seems that A&M's offense wasn't giving the defense many opportunities to stop Alabama on 3rd down...

Bama destroyed us in the 1st quarter no denying that.
For the other 3 quarters they scored 6 offensive points and were getting like 3 yards per carry.

But let's compare rushing D's after everybody has played Arky and Bama.

That's because Steele is at a minimum 27 times worse than Chief. LSU's defense is performing off last years memory. As soon as the Steele indoctrination takes over... LSU's Defense will look like Marshall.

John Chavis is the reason LSU won many games at LSU.
Unfortunately, against Bama, our defense could not maintain the lead and it has been frustrating for Tiger fans who wanted that win over Bama so desperately.
Most people are upset about him going to an opposing team sort of like Saban.
