Like I said, it seemed like he was walking over to question the initial (questionable) tech and the ref got pissy about being questioned.
If you're gonna make a questionable call at least have the sack to handle someone calling you on it.

That's exactly what it looked like to me.
ESPN just showed a view where all Cal did nothing but go to the ref at midcourt and ask "Why", followed by a second tech.
