Clemson miracle season - congrats to the ACC (SEC still ROCKS!)

The Clemson football team appeared just as formidable in 2016 as it did in 2015 title game. All the talk of Ala. being BEST defensive team EVER (which they very well may have been) was still NO match for Clemson offense and their talented skill players. The play calling was innovative the entire 2nd half resulting in 4 TD's in the final 2 qtrs! Think about that for a second...... LSU and ALA gave up fewest TD's in college football and the average was like 1.4 per game!!!!
The other remarkable aspect (IMPO) is that Clemson would not have even been allowed to play the championship game had they lost against NC State - which they should have.
Ala. lead from start to finish with #1 ranking all the way to the bitter 1 second end..... My hat goes off to the ACC Tigers. You had a miracle season early on and you believed until the miracle end.

if CU should have lost, then why didn't NCSU win in overtime? NCSU had a terrible kicker this year. it is like saying a team should have lost because a 0 percent 3 point shooter got wide open for a 3 with 1 second on the clock.
also should point out that Gallman was knocked out of the game early after a big run on a hit that was close to targetting, and he also fumbled.

This is remarkable when you think about it.
NC State was lining up for like a 30 yard FG attempt at the end of regulation to win and the kicker flat out missed it.

I'll be interested to see what they do without the best QB in the country and many of their offensive weapons gone
