During Georgia's bye week, Mr. Chubb got some well earned rest and recovery before the big Florida game, while Mr. Guice had a career day against division rival Ole Miss.

Here are the updated stats:

Chubb 6.43 YPC with 8 TD's

Guice 5.73 YPC with 6 TD's

Fun facts of the week:

-Chubb only has six carries in the 4th Quarter this year. He's pounded his way up to that YPC, basically zero garbage yards to pad his numbers.

-Additionally, in the context of QB play to enhance a running back's numbers.... Fromm and Etling have near identical YPA and Etling has 300 more yards.

On 3rd Down:

When you must convert, when it matters...

Chubb 11.4 YPC
Guice 2.1 YPC

Does Chubb go before round 3?

excellent information rig - thanks for the update!

but I thin this thread would be incomplete without congratulating Mr Guice on having a strong enough day to possible warrant cracking into the UGA backfield

congrats on a big day and a big win Mr Guice

I look forward to these fun facts. Can't wait for Zeus and Swift to run over them next year.

Add both of these together and they equal the amount of TD's scored by Kerryon Johnson and he didn't play in 2.5 games this season.

So Guice has only now gotten to about 90-95% recovered over the past week or so and he’s still only .7 ypc behind Chubb?

Well, I will say one thing. Without these threads, I would have forgotten that Chubb was even still playing football.

Had O not thrown him out there when he was injured, you might still be in the playoff discussion. Ever think of that? He would probably be completely healthy going into the Alabama game.

You made up numbers out of thin air, so why not make up a percentage that would eclipse 7.1 YPC at 100%?

Based on your math, Guice is only equal to Chubb at 100% capacity.

Chubb passes the torch to the young bucks in the second half. He does all of his work early with Michel.

That's why UGA is one of the top rushing attacks in the nation.

Beating UGA for the SEC title for a third time will still be fun

Oh look, new stats this week.

Edit:

Fun Fact, LSU & Guices backup also had 100 yards rushing and 100 yards receiving. Just think if they kept feeding Guice.

My favorite is "Isn't Chubb like 40? He's been there for like 10 years"

He has only played football for 3.5 years.

Guice is 20. Chubb is 21.

You talking about career numbers? Healthy Guice rolls at about 8.0ypc going by his career

Guice is 20. Chubb is 21.

Right so Chubb had to develop in his senior year to be compared to Guice.

Got it.

So Guice at 90% is 6.4 YPC this year. assumed 7.1 YPC at full strength.

Interesting that he has regressed in his career then, no?

No, Guice got to 90% this week and got 12 ypc.....

He was about 65% earlier in the year. Maybe 70%, possibly 71.5%

..... this is basically his junior year, developmentally, because of his 2015 knee reconstruction that sidelined him.
