Why are we comparing just Guice and Chubb? There's many great backs in the league. Just seems odd.

Georgia fans are still melting that LF7 was better than their superstar Chubb so they had to slide down to #2 on our roster and still can't win

ND is 5-10 in their last 15 games.

BYU beat the great Mississippi state last year

How many tds?

Guice has a lot of goal line carries so far which may impact ypc

He hasn't broken anything long so far this season. Not sure if it's the OL, scheme, or him but it's not clicking yet

Go on?

Maybe ND is better, maybe they are not. This season will tell the tale. But please sell me on ND being the better football team right now, not just the program with more national appeal.

ETA: Well then I'll sell you on BYU real quick

BYU 2016 record: 9-4
ND 2016 record: 4-8

BYU returning starters: 12
ND returning starters: 14

"But Notre Dame plays a tougher schedule"
-Common opponent 2016: Michigan state
BYU: W 31-14
ND: L 28-36

"But most ND losses were by one possession"
-BYU 2016 losses:
WVU by 3
UCLA by 3
Utah by 1
Boise State by 1

Does this prove 2017 BYU is better? No. But what is laughable about thinking BYU > Norte Dame?
I'd actually argue assuming ND > BYU so strongly is either being shallow or ignorant. Maybe both

**Edited to correct returning starters. ND +2 **

Both are special backs.

Both are getting a lot of their yards on their own behind average lines IMHO.

I'm hoping both of them have great NFL careers.

I'm partial to Chubb because he's come back from the injury and I've been following him since HS .... although I hope we limit him to 0 yards come October.

I suspect Chubb will finish the season with much better stats playing in the East.
