The argument was right now. I didn't start it - you're arguing with Tillman.

Y'all are in the Final Four right now, and Clemson isn't. That's not equal, no matter how you spin it.

What happened in baseball six years ago isn't what's happening today, though. They're at best equal, or Clemson just ahead.

true but i find most basketball games hard to watch as i've gotten older. plus they play so many games , the games don't really seem to matter as much.

they play 30 plus games only decide the seeds for 68 teams. u would think that many games would count for a lot more than that.

for me, the regular season should be used to determine the best 8 or 16 teams. then do a best of 3 pro style playoff.

The argument was "right now." As in this year.

This is the SEC and this is a SEC board, this is a conference of the long game not some fly by night single season. If you want to discuss single season stuff go to tACC Rant and discuss your small issues there.

Not when you take the overall programs into account. With this year we've surpassed Clemson as both were pretty even beforehand.

Not to mention we hold the series record in basketball.

Clemson was in sweet 16 in 97. lost to Bobby Jackson's Minnosta team which i believe got to the final 4, maybe title game.

Cock women are about to get their 2nd Final Four in 3 years and they have top attendance in the country and Dawn at the helm. While their history is shorter than say Tennessee, they certainly have laid the foundation for at least the next decade.

As for the men, it is the flash right now and yes it will take more time to see how that history plays out but they have broken at least 1 glass ceiling with a Final Four win. It is not the same exclusive club that has cut down the nets but it is not that far from it now. Contrast that with Tater M basketball and Cocks seem to have at least the short term upper hand and probably the long term as Clemson is not historically a basketball (M or W) school or fan base.

ok, i think u know i don't care about women's ball, nor do most real men.

if SC doesn't win a title, their run doesn't mean anything. it helps offset fact they went 3-6 against less good teams to end the regular season but that is about it.

title or bust.

go win urself a natty cocks. be legendary.

COcks remind me of Cuse last year. Cuse got drilled in final 4 by UNC. chickens may be coming home to roost, literallly. lol

i don't know if getttinb blown out in a final 4 game really helps recruiting. that's a lot more people seeing your team get destroyed than normal.

i may feel better soon about the home loss to Oakland first round at Clemson. lol

i watched a sports show on the internet and 5 out of 6 of the experts thing Gonzaga going to destroy SC inside.

Your reading comprehension is obviously just as pathetic. As far as the 1890-1960 "era" (lol), its laughable that you think you have the power to cast off 70 years of football as irrelevance. Auburn leads the Auburn Clemson series 38-14 but according to you, the 3-3 record since 1971 is what counts. LMAO.
