27 qualifying athletes...cheaper to charter a flight. We go on a private NCAA charter to the Outdoor Championships.

How's everyone else going?

With all those Wal Mart millionaires and billionaires are you saying they were too cheap to foot the bill so the NCAA had to?

ps, the ducks probably go on a bus or just walk (those cheap bastards)

Looks like 17 total qualifiers for Alabama. Dan Waters is really building a solid program.

Going to be tough to beat the Ducks in their home stadium with the small horde of athletes they are bringing. Best of luck to the SEC teams that are going.

Only 27 huh? Aggies have 28 athletes in 21 events with 30 total entries.

Looks like Carpenter is going but not sure how. She is used to overcoming hurdles so maybe she will just run there?

Why does it always seem like it's in Oregon? I don't really pay attention, but that is how it seems.

Phil Knight attended Oregon
Phil Knight founded Nike
Phil Knight donates lots of Nike profits

i am going out on a limb and suggest that money has a voice in this.

Not sure why.

The biggest misconception in NCAA track, is that Oregon is some super program, and it's not. The king of NCAA track resides in the SEC.

I never thought I would see an Arkansas fan compliment A&M.

So why don't the wealthy Hog alumni throw some money at the NCAA and get it permanently sited in Fayetteville the way NE and OK have the CWS and WCWS respectively? Fayetteville is in the middle of the country so probably easier for many to get there for less $$.

Why the lol, if Hogs don't have the outdoor every year seems like the joke is on the Hog alumni?

Ags are going to build this. We might be able to host.

Besides the previous mentioned Nike cash and elite facilities the Oregon staff is used to hosting premiere T&F events. The Prefontaine, U.S. Trials and numerous Grand Prix. Not sure who really outbids them either, the support in Eugene is huge.

As long as it lands in or around the SEC footprint I am cool with it.
