I guess the question we are at now, it's how much is the Vol fanbase buying into this hope? Will it be earth shattering to see another subpar year after so much promise this summer? Or has Doolbear done such a number on yall that even a.500 or worse record this fall will be no big deal. Basically what I'm asking is, is this real hype or just rant fodder?

The guy actually provides some good commentary in that link and acknowledges that UT may very well lose 4-5 games. He says he doesn't necessarily think they'll win the east and that could be an advantage not to take another loss in the title game. I agree with his assertion that every game on the schedule is winnable except probably one. The only thing I disagree with is the 10 win deal...I think 9 is the ceiling.

To their credit, at least they are actual articles written about their team. It's not like their posters act like sports journalist and spew their own shite around here.
