They aren't a great team. I'm not here to claim that they are. It's just they aren't a team that deserves to be penciled in for a last place finish every year, either.

We are just an easy team to pick as last. Losing a 3 year starter at QB? Not Alabama or LSU? Last place

They have too many national championships to gain this type of disrespect.

State won't finish last and will beat somebody they probably shouldn't, again. But they also will fall apart to end the year, again.

Mississippi State was picked to finished last in the SEC West last season in spite of an Orange Bowl appearance the year before and returning the best quarterback in the conference, and the Bulldogs outperformed that prediction with a 4-4 record in the league.

Thanks Auburn.

So this is was written because the team who finished 6th in the west with the best player in their history was picked 7th?

2 of our last 3 are at Alabama and Ole Miss. I wouldn't call that "falling apart". We will be heavy underdogs in those two games

That's my point. Your schedule is always back loaded, and you always get spanked by better competition to end the year.
