That's the point. I have no doubt that, had Watkins not gone 0-16, then lost by 20 in the conference tournament, we would have never gotten Billy Gillispie.

LSU has some talented players on the roster, they are a year away from turning the corner and jones is finally getting the roster he needs for his style of play.
Instead LSU will fire him and hire a coach with a 180 in philosophy resetting the rebuild of the program yet again ala Tennessee football.

Jones had the #1 overall player in the country last year and made him look average most of the year last year and we still didn't make the tourney. Jones is a beyond shite coach. Stop trying to act like Jones is not a shite coach because everybody with a brain knows he is.
