BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The SEC Office on Monday announced the start times and television networks that will televise its games of Saturday, October 24. CBS has exercised a six-day selection option for games on October 24.
The games under consideration are Tennessee at Alabama and Texas A&M at Ole Miss. The game selected by CBS will air at 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT, while the other contest will air on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET/6 p.m. CT. Selections will be made following games of Oct. 17.

What should they choose?

In that case, congrats Tennessee and Bama fans. Good Ole Verne at 2:30

They should choose A&M at Ole Miss.
That makes up for not having a night game at Kyle against Alabama.

Winner of Alabama/A&M game will tilt it.

Ugh, will be pulling for TAMU now. Verne is even worse this year than last.

Please let Bama have the ESPN game; I much prefer that over the CBS commercial fest the 2:30 game has become. They literally sometimes run just 1 play and cut to commercial again where ESPN will stay with whatever is going on down on the field most of the time.

LSU-USC finished on ESPN while there was still 10+ minutes left in the UGA-UT game.

I'd go with Ole Miss-aTm if I were CBS. We're gonna pound Tennessee.

Verne is awesome. Am going to miss him when he's gone.
(CBS should break open the bank vault and get Brad Nessler and Todd Blackledge, though. Best announcing team in the business.)

I will miss Vernes personality. But Verne is fricking awful at calling games. Him and Gary are unlistenable to. If we play the 3:30 game I will have to watch it with the volume down.

LSU runs the ball a lot

Don't even try it; the 10 minute difference is due to the extra commercials. It's become very hard to watch 1 minute of football and 2-3 minutes of commercials at times and that happens 2-3 times a game on CBS. The show stinks and has for quite a while.

I don't miss any of the plays, so what are you missing?
You need to hear more announcing?

Not sure why you guys are worried about who is announcing the game. If you attend the games you have nothing to worry about

I find it helps if you think of ot as a 4-5 hour draft kings infomercial, with intermttant football breaks scattered in.

Classic Verne/Gary moment after UGA returned a 70 yard punt for TD:
Verne: THERE ARE NO FLAGS ON THE FIELD
Gary: Yes, yes there are. Look. This one's coming back
They negated the penalty, so in the end it didn't matter, but I thought it was funny anyway.

Two 1-loss teams playing will be better than a game with 2 dumpster fires.

Or Gary vehemently stating the game was over due to a 10-second runoff after UGA had too many players on the field only to be proven wrong since the clock wasn't running.
