A topic worthy of "Case Closed" status would be frickLSU®. We can all agree on that.

I don't know much about Mizzou but A&M has been a guaranteed win on the schedule every year.

Missouri has been fine. I'd be ok with swapping Texas A&M with another Big 12 team though.

Exactly. Would rather swap TAMU for Texas or TCU. TAMU is too freaking weird and the culture does not fit the SEC at all. Not sure what conference they do fit

Obviously not since y'all quit on them before.

TAMU would say that you all don't fit their conference, because TAMU now owns this conference.

Isn't that area between MO and LA where our piss and poo ends up? Seriously?

It's pretty common knowledge that the entire basketball landscape what experiencing a sporting "dark ages" at that time. That Arkansas team wouldn't have won the conference let alone made the tournament in any normal year.

Basketball in general had not recovered by 1995 when Arkansas represented almost as well, making it to the finals.

That year is often referred to as "the stone age" in basketball circles.

Arkansas needs a stone age in football.

I think Texas would've been the better choice.

Stick with primary flagship state schools.

Next wave should be Virginia and North Carolina.

Schools like A&M are like Virginia Tech to me.

Eta: Sorry, I had to...

He was making a joke by comparing the Arkansas basketball situation to what many on here say about Mizzouri's two east football titles.

Is winning the division really a "title?" I mean there's no trophy or anything. They could hang a banner I guess.

As much as I don't want to admit it, I will. They were damn good additions. From a marketing prospective, and the large amount of people moving to Houston, A&M was a great additions.

I agree. Nothing fits the SEC better than small private religious schools and leftist west-coast style urban universities.

SEC cawabunga, braaa!!!

I call BS. Tejas would be the absolute worst partner. That is unless you want to see the SEC implode. TCU...well nice troll.

The school you call Texas "flagship" has less students and a smaller stadium then the Texas Aggies.

The Texas Aggies sold 102,500 season tickets this year and the fagship sold 45,000.

Now if your criteria is irrelevant leather helmet football than the flagship is in Austin.

I like the TAMU addition. I'm just worried that adding Missouri has made the SEC-W teams get complacent in the SECCG. We need our champions to be peaking in the post-season.
