Carolina folks - How has Bentley played this year?

High expectations for that kid. I haven't been able to watch much of you guys as our games keep seeming to cross paths time wise. Has he played well?

Needs to settle the frick down. Has been over/under throwing wide open receivers. He just seems out of sorts this year.
And we won't even talk about that fricktarded flop against Kentucky...the one Muschamp basically endorsed on his call in show.
PS....Kurt Roper has got to go. Now. Let Bobby Bentley call the plays. Can't get much worse than Roper's stupid arse.

Has made some nice plays, has made some horrible throws that could have been touchdowns.
Is getting no help from the run game

Muschamp effect. It's a real thing.

Roper is the issue. But Muschamp is the one that brought him here. And he's gonna have to be the one to get rid of him. Sooner rather than later.
I have never seen GamecockNation this irate this early in the season and after only one loss.

What's Roper's biggest problem?
I know the run game is an issue. Is that play calling or talent in the trenches?

It's Muschamp. Seriously.

True that...Bentley is young and doesn’t have his best play maker. He might be good in time but he’s played what? 7-8 games

Play calling. Decisions made in the Kentucky game that were just completely devoid of common sense. Not using our best, most productive players in critical situations. It was like we were trying to lose the damn game and succeeded exceptionally well at it.

He'll settle down on September 30th and put up a Heisman-worthy performance for the ages.

Speaking of Heisman...found out today that Mason Rudolph was interested in South Carolina and we never offered. What in the actual frick?

I don't understand how he thought bringing in Roper AGAIN was smart. The guy was with you when you got fired at Florida, so why bring him to your new job?!

I just wish Roper knew what the hell a screen pass is. Bentley has played well considering he’s the only way were moving the ball... out RB’s I think have more receiving yards than rushing yards.

currently he's ...
2nd in the SEC in completions behind Patterson
3rd in passing ypg behind Patterson/D Lock
5th in TD & completion %
completed 16 consecutive passes vs UK at one point. has missed on 4 passes that should have been TD through the first 3 games.
as mentioned by other Gamecocks, he's been unsettled at times in games - but has also made some spectacular scrambles/throws to score/move the chains.

you sure about that?
Borrowed from a fellow Cock...
Total Offense SC 112 Fl 121
Rushing offense SC 119 Fl 117
Passing offense SC 64 Fl 91
Scoring offense SC 85 FL 107
Team Passing efficiency SC 58 Fl 80
Believe me... that Tennessee game did wonders for your numbers from where they were after Michigan
I don't think the Muschamp effect as you say extends 3 years into the new coaches tenure.

There were two good qbs in sc that year- Rudolph and Park. Sc passed on both. Uga got Park and we thought he was a bust but he is doing a good job for Iowa State this year.

You post numbers showing your own incredibly ineffective offense just to prove you've played SLIGHTLY better than UF? Ever heard the phrase "cutting off your nose to spite your face"?
Y'all have bought in to Boom that much, huh? Has USCe faced a defense like Michigan yet?

Aren't there some lonely sheep in Pickens county that need attending to?
