I don't see bama winning this game.

Stidham is the type of QB that Saban can't defend against and auburns offense isn't even their best asset.

45-38 type game.

No, the kind of QB that gives Saban trouble is the kind that can create under pressure. Early returns say Stidham struggles badly in that area. But, there's a lot of football left, and the game is at JHS. You never know.

In all fairness, that was on our line, not stidham, and our line has changed. Will that remain? only time will tell

I also attribute stidhams performance to being away from real football for like 1.5 years. He was bound to struggle the first game. He's picked it back up since then just fine.

Long way to go and a lot can change between now and then, but I think Bama has a puncher's chance in the Iron Bowl.

I mean, I'm not sitting here saying bama should just go ahead and pencil in the loss. Obviously bama could win this. I do think the iron bowl will be the true SEC Championship.

Not a believer in Georgia? Even if Georgia loses to Auburn I expect them in the SECCG and will be a challenge for either Auburn or Alabama in Atlanta.

As for the Iron Bowl, I think it is going to be a dogfight for sure. I'd feel pretty confident if the game was in Tuscaloosa but at Auburn with their defense is going to be tough.

Georgia is top 3 for sure and they may be better than Auburn, will have to wait and see. I don't think Georgia has what it takes to win the SEC outright though. But whatever bowl they get put into, they should smash their opponent.

You're right, a drop back pocket passer with limited mobility has proven to be Saban's Achilles Heel.

Auburn is a very good and may well win the Iron Bowl, but if you're going to try to troll Alabama using them you should at least watch a game so you can accurately describe their team.

If we must talk the Iron Bowl, I will say Auburn finally has a good chance to beat Bama this year and heres why:

- The last 2 iron bowls had Jeremy Johnson as a starter, meaning Sean White made it to neither. We haven't had a legit QB in the iron bowl since 2014.

- Both games were close going into the half with bama taking advantage of a porus offense.

- Auburn's Defense will be the X-factor.

- Auburn's offense is more balanced than years past.

- We play at home, and everyone knows that's where the magic happens.

-When ranked Gus is 15-1 vs Ranked opponents in JHS.

uhh, that's absolutely not so. The quarterbacks that have beaten Saban at Alabama were true dual threat type qbs and the Auburn qb is not that.

I think Alabama wins for the following reasons:

They are better on offense
They are better on defense
They are better on special teams
They have better coaches

Ok. If you want to count on the same results as Saban's first year, with Shula's players, then knock yourself out. I would recommend you bet the farm on it.

Yeah, but we have that whole Creed thing going for us.

We'll call it even.
