No Guice will not. If that was the case Bama wouldn't have come up short last year. The fact Bama went 14-1 with a QB who was terrible passing from the LSU game on is a miracle

He is having back surgery as soon as spring practice is complete. He showed me enough last year that he can get the job done. Reference Matt Flynn & Matt Mauck, that's all LSU needs out of him next year. But, again, he's having back surgery, chill.

Danny is an averagely talented QB that is in the perfect situation. He's the best LSU has available leadership and experience wise.
I believe he CAN lead LSU to an SECCG with his decision making next year. He finished the year really well actually...
Vs UF- 204 yards
Vs ATM- 324 yards and 2 TDs
Vs Louisville- 217 yards and 2 TDs
LSU's defense will have to be top notch again for a championship run, but Danny isn't going to be the reason why we don't have a championship type season.

While Etling is no world beater, he is a legitimate, serviceable QB. Ignore idiots who down him because he didn't play well to a couple of top defenses.

Etling is who he is. I think that mentally he had it. But he has a below average arm. His deep ball float down the field. I would love for us to win it all with him but he lack of arm strength will come back to bite us before it is all said and done.

Judging by the small sample seen at the spring game, I am not sure he will be the starting QB, much less lead us to the promise land.
