We all know Ole Miss is going down and hard. It's just a matter of time. Done deal.

But flying under the radar at the moment is a brewing scandal at Tennessee. Director of Football Operations and right hand penis holder to Butch Jones, Chris Spognardi, was placed on administrative leave without an explanation being provided to the public.

Can the SEC weather the total collapse of these two historic programs?

Can these programs weather a total collapse and resulting NCAA sanctions?

Ole Miss was never a top flight program and don't have a national brand to speak of.

They will regress back to their mean and the SEC will carry on like normal.

Tennessee has been a clusterf*ck of disasters for the last 10 years, which happened to coincide with the SEC's Decade of Dominance.
I think the SEC will be ok without Tenn. like they have the last 10 years.

I agree with you. I actually believe Mizzou will fill the void Tennessee once occupied.

Tennessee has already been in self-imposed purgatory for years. Won't do shite to the SEC

Some are good, some are bad, but I respect the consistency.

What is the decade of dominance bitch? It sounds like a very special bitch that dominated for a decade. That is some bitch!

Both will suffer over the next few years. But, it won't hurt the SEC, imo.

When Ole Miss gets hammered, it will probably boost the creditability of the other schools that play by the rules.

Concerning the Vols, the butt chugging stuff should get them kicked out of the SEC.

Uh, you must've reached the part where we reached a settlement and the files were closed. We're out of the woods, as least as far as major trouble goes.

OM otoh is fricked.

Historic programs

Here's a history lesson:
-Zero Sec West championships
-Zero 10 win regular seasons

The SEC has managed to survive the last 53 years without ole miss winning it, I think we can hold on for a little while longer

In the reality I wouldn't worry too much about the SEC if ole miss is down. If ole miss starts winning the Conference thats when I'd be worried: UA, LSU, AU, UF, UGA, and UT all being down at the same time would be rough.

The football operation suspension has nothing to do with the NCAA or team. It's a internal issue. Nice troll though.

And Mizzou taking over Tennessee's spot....
