Is hosting mo state for their super regional or what the formula is? MO state entered post season as a 1 seed while arky was a 2. Thanks, Jawja

Mo state's stadium not available. They share with a minor league team.

This is something the NCAA needs to fix going forward. IF you cant host for a super regional you shouldn't receive a national seed.

I think the non double use rule should be changed. The S Cards told the NCAA they would move their games.

Completely agree. I'm glad we benefited from it but it is kind of laughable.

No it shouldn't be changed.

Say that SMS scheduled their games at night and Springfield had theirs scheduled earlier. The Springfield game goes to extra innings and screws all teams, TV, and teams rest for the rest of the series.

Programs who can't afford their own stadium, need not be a national seed. SMS should be downright embarrassed by being gifted a national seed.

Yes, gifted.

Manipulating the RPI is the ONLY reason SMS was in consideration for a national seed. Add in the fact SMS doesn't even have their own stadium and yes, Gifted.

So having 45 plus wins, winning at least 2 of 3 from 4 tournament teams (including Arkansas all in Fayetteville) and winning a regular season and conference tournament championship was all gifted also?

I'll take the gift I guess so thank you.

SMS was 8-4 against top 50 competition in the regular season. 12 games total against quality opponents.

Bragging about a mid week win against Arkansas is pointless. LSU also lost to Nicholls State. Big whoop.

Meanwhile, aTm played a grand total of 20 games against top 50 teams, comparatively speaking. Vanderbilt was also a much more deserving team of a top 8 seed.

So you're denying that they're 2-1 vs Arkansas? Spin it like you want.

You just need to get over it.

Arkansas got the Super so it's not a big deal.

No, I'm telling you a midweek game against a directional school doesn't matter to a P5 team.

Get over what?

I'm simply stating SMS wasn't deserving of a national seed, especially since they do not have their own venue to host both sets of regionals at.

I'd imagine the NCAA committee doesn't make this same mistake again. It's made them look foolish and essentially gave Oklahoma State/Arkansas a national seed. Its a disservice to the teams who actually earned and deserve a national seeding.

What disservice has been made? So I guess UCLA didn't deserve a national seed?

Again you're awful upset about a outcome of a game today.

Considering that oSu was the 9 seed and lost their regional there's been no mistake.

UCLA certainly earned their national seeding.

I'm not upset about one game.

The disservice is a national seed not being able to host a super regional. There are two other SEC teams that deserve to be hosting a Super in front of Arkansas and of course SMS.

Where on earth do you fathom Oklahoma State was the 9th seed? The Big 12 was a terrible baseball conference this season.

You don't follow college baseball much eh?

Oklahoma State almost a national seed...wow...you're a brilliant fella
