Mariota was meh against the first D with a pulse they have played.

JFF is a thug and can't win big games.

Mettsiah's chances got put on ice.

Lsu has a vulnerable D and a history of giving up Heisman moments. AJ doing it vs the best program since the turn of the century and likely getting 3 straight will aid his argument IMO.

Is it AJ vs famous jameis?

I think AJ gets a invite as a career accomplishment (not that I agree with that premise).

It is Jameis to lose.

AJ could play himself in to an invite and a second place finish but the media still loves JFF.

With 3 southern players, the votes could be split in a very interesting way.

There is no midwest candidate(mayube Bryce Petty) or west cost candidate anymore.

Career invite, much like Tebow in 2009.

No. It looks like Winston's to lose now. Winston could lose it too. Hoping for a 4 int meltdown against the Gators at the end of the season.

Mariota was pretty awful last night. His final stats ended up okay, but if people actually watched that game and the way he played then they should be removing him from their top 3.

Mariota's performance makes it more likely McCarron could sneak into the top 3-4 and get to NY, but Winston and probably Manziel are likely 1-2 now.

It'll be Winston vs. Johnny from here on out

JFF isn't a thug and he can win big games, and usually plays well enough personall to do so. However, if A&M loses another game this year and A&M ends up with a disappointing 3 losses, it's going to cost him with the Heisman voters. If A&M wins out and he plays well, then he will be in the thick of things.

Yep with Winston having the inside track at the moment.

AJ doing it vs the best program since the turn of the century

The LSU butt hurt is growing.

LSU is not the best program since the turn of the century, nor will they ever become the best of all time.

The fighting pachyderms will roll the purple kitties back to Deaf Valley.

AJ will most likely get an invite, but I doubt he wins. Alabama has only produced one Heisman winner and there were 12 national titles plus 107 years before that happened. Though, only 74 of those years the heisman trophy was actually awarded.

Alabama will always be more about the on the field play as a unit instead of some notion that it is one person who carries a team.

JFF has it wrapped up if he wins out.

Mariota sucks.

Florida will destroy the girls school.

AJ has never been a real candidate because he has a shite-ton of talent all around him. A retarded monkey could win national championships as QB for Alabama.

So...

JFF

If AJ wins out in style he has a chance but the new leader has to stumble.

Just like Geno smith won it after his 8 TD 600 yard game against Baylor right? Still some football left to be played

I don't think it's "what can AJ do to win" but rather "what can Winston do to lose" it at this point.

AJ is no Montana, and ya'll need to understand that. He is a mediocre QB at best. He's been consistent with an O-Line that protects him. Y'all play open date teams every week. He has hardly been challenged. We'll see how bad he is Saturday.

Winston locked it up with Mariota's stinker.
