Can LSU get the monkey off their back in Oxford this weekend?

LSU has fallen on hard times this year in Oxford. Will their fortune change this weekend on the diamond?
OM and LSU are both playing good baseball right now and this series could be huge for both clubs moving forward. Up to this point, both teams have won the games they were supposed to and lost a couple of games they probably shouldn't have.
The Thursday night will be televised on ESPNU. The guys at ESPN couldn't have picked a better game to represent SEC baseball. Two of the biggest rivals in the sport at the nicest venue in the league. Here's to a great series!

SEC baseball is on every Thursday on ESPNU. Last week it featured Tennessee @ UGA. It's not a big deal

Biggest rivals? Nah, dont think so. That would Miss. ST. When you accomplish something in the sport besides hosting a super regional, get back to me.

LSU did just fine in Women's Basketball in Oxford, so nice try.

This isn't a bad post opposed to the last two weekend threads. Hopefully we can get the bats to heat up in oxford.

I'm pointing out how big of a series this could be for both teams.
I didn't say OM would sweep LSU. Stop being so sensitive, and let's try to have a reasonable discussion about America's pastime.

It's hard to say you have the nicest venue in the league when half your stadium is metal bleachers. Swayze is the best, hands-down.
