Cam Newton Show For The Nation

I was on the fence concerning whether the Newton's and Auburn were quilty in all this. After watching Newton and even Bo Jackson on the sidelines I am convinced. The arrogance just screamed to me we did it and you can't prove shite. But hey I guess when you think about 200,000 for the BCS NC isn't that bad a deal. He is a great player but not a great person, and he gets that from his hypocrit father.

The kid is definitely a peice of shite as is his father but he is a great athelete for sure.
Whores and money will end up being his downfall. He has no discipline and thinks the rules do not apply to him and he will carry this with him into the NFL. The money will bury someone like him.

You notice when Au scores that $cam is not over congradulating the reciever that caught it he is "look at me" in the back of the end zone.
His stiff arm early in the game was a punch and should have been flagged. These things really show what he is made of.
Enjoy your little run Au because this will taint your program for a long time.

Nope, it is all done through booster, (lawyers and judges) by way of non-profit organization. Just hide and watch, a lot of people are going to crash and burn over this one.

quote:Yes it will and they just dont get it. Like people here have said, newton is a great player, but he will end up costing Auburn a whole lot over the next few yrs. I already know of two high school players who were interested in Auburn who now say (atleast their dad's) they won't be going there because of possible penalties in the future. Enjoy auburn fans.

I noticed in several of your posts that you seem sure of this. Is it hope or is there something more substantial that you know will be coming out?

Watts Dantzler a huge OL and a UGA commit (but one who we've been very shaky with in regards to AUburn) was at the game last night. This is what he had to say:"
Don't think for a second that a lot of the other recruits in attendance didn't think the same thing. Auburn will get theirs
quote:
We came close, it is a tough loss for sure. Nick Fairley got that butt whipped by Ben Jones so he starts taking cheap shots. Shows how classy Auburn is."

Why do people keep saying this?
The NCAA knows, beyond any doubt, that Cam's dad asked for $ for his son to play college ball. The NCAA doesn't care. Cam has been given a pass.
College football has changed.

READ TODAY'S PAPER, you can read, can't you ?...HIS FATHER ADMITS TO ASKING FOR MONEY TO PLAY AT STATE...now tell me, is this right?..should he be inellgible?...any other school would have set his arse on the bench...NOT AUBURN...DISGRACE FOR THE REST OF THE SEC...

How come Cam isnt required to use a mouthpiece? Got to show those pearly whites I guess. An innocent, not caring smile is a sign of complete innocence.

Alabama will call the SEC office this week. Cam will wear a mouthpiece next week or Auburn will get penalized and lose a timeout. Then he will be taken out of the game until he complies with the rules.

Lost in all of this is the fact that an otherwise exciting football season is being overshadowed by one player who is giving a black eye to the entire sport. At least when all you heard about was Tebow he was actually a high character guy instead of a POS. It's like having Michael Vick be the face of college football. What a fricking disgrace.

There is not a single person on here that knows what is going to happen to AU. I am not sure why so many posters are posting their wishful thinking as if it is fact. Makes them sound dumb, IMO.

I actually was enjoying watching until all this unfolded, and now Auburn's image is tainted for me regardless of what happens. Does anyone really believe that Newton will be declared ineligible? Or is it just wishful thinking?

This is BS, I have 3 sons, I would never pimp my kids out for my benefit, if if accused of such, I would fight to the death.
