Cam Newton wouldn't be Cam Newton in the Mad Hatters offense. In fact, can you really call that on offense??

Coming from a Georgia fan is ironic. Your coach is no better. Constantly under achieves

You're saying he's going to have the most dominant season in college football history? That's quite high expectations there.

Maybe, but it doesn't come down to the defense if the offense can score TDs instead of kicking FGs.

I think Johnson will be really good...as a mobile pocket passer. I'd give him 500 yards at 4 ypc tops on the ground.

Any Qb will be good in Auburns offense. This guy can be very good though.

ellis johnson was a pretty decent DC at his other stops. his D a big reason SC beat us in 2010. why did he suck so bad with you guys? He held us to fewer points last year than muschamp's vaunted defense did.

Example 1- played man coverage against Cooper. AU secondary was unable to play man on any recievers all year (see TX AM Game), yet he insisted on a gameplan that made Cooper beat you. Is there another DC in the league who tried that strategy ?

Example 2- By the time AU played UGA, they were a one dimensional running team. He did not try to stack the box and make GA pass on them. Even Muschamp figured out how to slow UGA running game.

Example 3- TX A&M and USC Games. AU could not stop either team on Offense. AUs Offense was forced to score on every possession. It worked against USC, by it bit them on the arse against A&M.

Example 4- AU Defense forced a punt less than 19% of the time against SEC Teams.

ask Florida fans how they feel about Muschamp's strategy for shutting Cooper down.

Is this the same guy who was the backup to a QB who lost to Mississippi State's abysmal defense by 15 points last year? Not a flame, truly curious.

That was game 3 of the season. By Game 12, everyone knew that Sims to Cooper was the bulk of Bama's passing game. Every other DC in the league would have a scheme to slow down Cooper and force Sims to find another WR. OSU figured it out.

I see Johnson being similar to Blake Sims for Bama last year.
Serious question.. Have you watched Jeremy Johnson play?

while i agree with your premise that its a terrible comparison, it's still a better comparison than JJ to Luck
