I don't fully understand the rules of LOI's. Can kids use this as an excuse to backtrack their LOI's? Kinda shitty if they can't.

I think it is still up to the university but most of the time they will allow them a release because it doesn't look good to keep someone who doesn't want to be there. When the Florida coach left last year, there was a chance that Arkansas was going to grab a kid that signed a LOI there but he chose to stay.

Well saying his contract is up in March. And lsu rejected a new contract. I would hope going to college and all,they would put two and two together that he would not be there next season.
