Prostate Cancer

According to the American Cancer Society,

The relative 5-year survival rate is almost 100%
The relative 10-year survival rate is 99%
The 15-year relative survival rate is 94%

It's very much treatable. However, I don't know how late they caught this. The earlier the better.

Regardless, prayers to the Cameron Family

I wonder how this will effect his ability to coach this year?

That's the least of my concern. I just hope it was caught early, so he will be fine.
And of course, the only jackhole posts in this thread were by 2 LSU fans.
Not the time to flame A&M, and I doubt there is any fake sympathy. I'm sure everyone here has had cancer affect a friend or family member.

frick you man for even saying this.

I'll be the first to admit when a player simply has a tweaked ankle yes I do hope they miss the next week and miss our game. But i do alis aye hope it isn't serious and that they fully recover.

But Someone getting diagnosed with cancer is a whole different story. Cancer can affect anyone and I don't think you're gonna get an "fake" sympathy from people on this. I hope he beats it but frick you.

3 months away from being a doc.. WAY more people die with prostate cancer than from it. Some groups actually advise not even screening for it unless there is a family hx or the patient asks. If you had to get cancer this is the one to get.. hoping for a speedy recovery
