arkansas just gave bret bielema a raise so naturally i came upon a list of sec coaching salaries. it came to my attention gary pinkel is either the 12th or 13th lowest paid coach in the sec. (depending on derek mason's private numbers). don't worry the police have been notified! with so many diehard missouri fans around here can someone explain this to me?

Pretty much, but I don't think OP's figures are correct anyway unless a lot of coaches have gotten a raise recently.
