Buy or sell. If Freeze loses his job...

Tommy Tubberville will get a phone call. Since yesterdays news, all I could think of are the what ifs.
Tubby has coached at Ole Miss before and to be honest, they could do worse. So if Freeze gets fired (which I doubt until we see how bad the sanctions are) I have TT at the top of my list for a replacement. He knows the program and recruiting within the state.
Buy or sell?

Probably a buy for me. Tuberville has been successful in the SEC before an I still believe he has a National Championship in him somewhere

Maybe the "pine box" comment will happen after all

Freeze is done for. At this time of year OM would do very well to convince Tuberville to come run their program.

Isn't he running for governor or something?

Tubbs is done coaching big boy football. The game has passed him up.

After his interview on Birmingham radio yesterday, I think he is actually serious about this Governor thing.

Tubby has a career .63% winning pct.
Previous records at Ole Myth:
1995 - 6-5
1996 - 5-6
1997 - 8-4
1998 - 6-5
He had more talent at Auburn than at Ole Myth, and BAMA was on probation for about 70% of his tenure at Auburn.
He only had 2 seasons in 10 years at Auburn with 10 or more wins. He also had two losing seasons there.

He has no chance to be Gov. of AL.

The guy practically stopped doing his job his last couple of years at Cincinnati, so what makes any of you think he will have the energy to coach in the SEC West?

Tubs is done
OM is waiting on Chip to say yes.

A) No way Freeze survives this. Think of Tressel.
B) No way Ole Miss hires a top tier coach. It's just a bad situation all around.

The played Tubberville on Finebaum yesterday and it sounded like he wasn't surprised by it and though he didn't bash OM his vibe didn't come off as "I'm interested" for sure.
