Thank god someone else gets it,
It's real simple son, They had a warning earlier about the sideline shite, and Champ isn't the head coach and I'm pretty sure when you call the ref a dick face it will draw the flag. That one is not even up for debate.
The late hit was beyond obvious. Coker out of bounds, rode hard into the bench and smashes his head on the corner. Not that ole boy did it on purpose but seriously. The other ref busting arse was funny though.

Only bama fans would fail to recognize the holding that wasnt called by the SEC refs. That is why they are shocked when other Conferences Refs call them out in Bowl Games. It will happen again this year.

Exactly. But some morons still try to tell us that it has been "explained multiple times" why this shouldn't get a penalty.
Not to mention the fact that Saban got a sideline warning too.....I am pretty sure if Saban left the bench and ran out on the field and called Ritter a fricking idiot, he would have drawn a flag too...Saban kept a cool head while Champ went full retard.

Let me point out a few things:
Bramblett and White are Auburn grads. They're going to be homers as they should be. Bramblett covers Auburn and Auburn only. Stan White played at Auburn and doesn't have a good history with Alabama, and that's the polite way to put it.
Eli Gold is from New York and worked the national radio circuit, calling Hockey and NASCAR before becoming the caller for Alabama. Even after that he has called NFL, AFL, and has hosted multiple radio sports shows. One of them with Stan White. Can he be a homer? Well considering he doesn't have previous ties with Alabama before becoming they're radio annoucer I don't know how you can call him a homer. Does he point out calls that don't go Alabama's way? Sure, but he doesn't beat that dead horse. Does he call out plays that shouldn't have gone in Alabama's favor? Yes, he did during the Miss. St. game this year when him and Phil Savage both said that Alabama got away with a block in the back on Cyrus Jones' punt return for a TD.
Phil Savage, is a former NFL executive, who went to undergrad school at University of the South where he played, baseball. He received his master in physical education from Alabama. He was asked to join Eli after Stabler stepped down. So, I guess he can has homer status, but again he has called out plays that should have not gone in Alabama's favor.
So enough of the, "well, Alabama's guy do it all the time," because they don't.
The Muschamp penalty was a flag called on the bench. Why? Because Muschamp is an assistant coach, not the head coach. If it would have been Malzahn it would have been a sideline warning; just like Saban's. Muschamp is an assistant coach, and therefore part of the bench. What is so hard to understand? Ever seen Smart or Kiffin throw a fit like that? I haven't. And if you have please provide proof, and whether or not they received a flag for it and I'll gladly eat crow.

Please refresh my memory, but was there a holding call on either offensive line?

BGT,
I'm betting Gus didn't say jack to Will. I suspect Gus don't have the kahonas...

Good point.
Ironically... despite having what is regarded as the best defensive front seven in all of college football... I'd like for someone to give me a list of all the holding calls by our SEC opponents against us.
I don't think you will find a single holding penalty against our SEC opponents this year. I can't think of a single one. THAT is truly amazing given that apparently the refs are on our side.***

It's obvious that SEC refs have been instructed not to call holding on Bama linemen - at least whenever they have a shot at the title. Year-in and year-out, their holding doesn't get calls that are routine against other teams.

LOL, in a close game with Tennessee here were the penalty stats
Tennessee : 6, 30 yards
Alabama : 7, 64 yards

Maybe you should blame Gus and Rhett just a bit. Boogs didn't cross the 50 after the 3rd quarter.

This is what makes my point so much more telling. Despite your sentiment above, OTHER TEAMS do not get called for holding against Bama. At least not in the SEC. Go ahead, do some research, look it up. I may be wrong but I don't think Bama has has a single SEC opponent called for holding against the best defensive front in football this year.
Yet... we're the ones gaining the advantage from the refs. Riiiiiiiight.

Lots of truth here. However, the Auburn bench did get a sideline warning earlier in the game, so the same infraction the second time would have been a penalty.
The telling point in the whole Muschamp debacle is Ritter getting in Malzahn's face and telling him to get his boy under control. The look on Ritter's face and seeing him get cap-to-visor with Malzahn was priceless. When Muschamp had to be dragged off the field again after the FG, it's a wonder he didn't get ejected.
