Butch is 5-2, how are UT fans now feeling?

I asked when UT was flying high at 5-0 how the Vols would feel with a 10-2 finish, and I got some typical we dont talk to 2 loss teams blah blah blah, and ohers that said they would be happy because 10-2 is an improvement.

Mizzou
Vandy
So all awful horrific teams in which winning means nothing.
Will yall let Butch pull the wool over your eyes again this season?

He would have beaten only shitty teams(UF may be a good win, time will tell), and lost to the only good ones he played.

10-2 and likely our first appearance in the SECCG since 2007, finally snapped the Florida streak, beat Georgia and beat the hell out of Virginia Tech. I'll take it. The A&M game left a sour taste in my mouth tho and VOLS just ran into a buzz saw against Alabama. I do remember just how bad we have been tho

I sense the trolling in the OP... I'm not blind. I do think Butch deserves a lot of credit for getting us to this point, but as I've said before, I'm not sure he's a good enough coach to get us much farther. Still, people love to forget that 10-2 was the expectation. If we win out and win the east, l'll be fine with the year overall, especially considering how many injuries we've gone through. It's absolutely ridiculous.
Also, Va Tech and UF may end up being good wins, and we won both by double digits.

Sure. Tennessee will possibly (I honestly could see them losing another one) be "10-2".
However, Tennessee is 9-3 in my eyes. Needing a hail mary to beat an awful Georgia team...

Other than terrible luck with injuries, I feel good about 5-2. Tennessee's schedule is always front loaded. Even terrible Dooley's team won out in November.

I'm aware that Tennessee has had to overcome a plethora of injuries and I agree with this point.
Tennessee just hasn't impressed me all season. Butch Jones is obviously doing something right, but something about him (or the team) is just off. Honestly, his teams reminds me a little of the Les Miles teams at LSU. They have talent and can compete with most, but they are just all-around sloppy.

Well then I can say in my eyes, LSU didn't win the natty in 07 because they needed like 8 teams in front of them to lose to horrible teams.

If you had told me preseason at this point we would be 5-2 with wins against florida and georgia i would had been doing freaking cartwheels! We have a shot at 10-2 and sec championship game. I couldnt ask for more this season.

Do what??? You couldn't ask for more? wtf, yes you absolutely can. Maybe beating a good team is a start. Look we can honestly say that if Tenn makes it to the SECCG that is an automatic loss. So that's 3 losses right there and then a possible loss in the bowl game. Does that make you happy??

Like I said earlier, it's too early to say we haven't beaten a good team this year. VT and UF could end up being really good wins. And on the condition that we get close to healthy before the SECCG, I won't concede anything before the game. Also, we don't lose bowls.

absolutely! Again, had you told me in august we would be 5-2 right now with wins against both div rivals (one in which we hadnt beat in 12 yrs) i would be freaking stoked. So i am very happy where we are right now at 5-2 with a shot at 10-2 and a trip to atlanta.
Does it make you happy lsu fired their coach and ed orgeron is possibly going to lead them to a 7-5 season? Dont worry about us fam, we good.
