Probably cause most of that yardage was against opponents OUTSIDE of the SEC.

Apparently you forgot about your epic melt on here after the LSU game.

LOL corndog fans are madddddd....LOL LF is a good guy and a great RB but get real its not like hes going to put up 200 yards every game. And BUGA IS a gay name. Who comes up with that?

he didn't even get 20 carries against auburn I think...19

he's averaging less than 25 carries a game, you make it sound like they're giving him the ball 35-40 times a game.

Keep telling yourself this. I don't want the kid to get injured, but with more carries become more opportunities. Go back and watch the Auburn game, it was totally out of hand, yet you have fournette still in the game. He was injured also, luckily it was minor.

Thanks so much for your concern.

Oh of course we do, BUT we did get Demarco Murray after him and now we have Samaje and Mixon so RBU is still good...

...just not nearly as good as LSU's, which of course is why you are here.

This is a legitimate concern. Want the kid to be healthy when he moves on from LSU, no matter where life takes him.
this is garbage invented by NFL talking heads over the last 10 years to explain how ladanian Tomlinson, shaun alexander and a couple of others went from peak to washed up in about 2 seasons.

also, they do this to explain away the RBBC which wasn't really a big thing until 2006 with the titans, saints and a couple of others.

The NFL was way more punishing in the 70s, 80s, 90s, and yet guys were still great. No one talked about limiting barry sanders' touches or emmitt smith's touches. The wheels on the bus went round and round until they didn't.

it's not a function of carries so much as age and the offensive line around guys...it's also a function of the newfound phenomenon that football teams no longer put elite talents at RB. The NFL, as it has become a passing league, has seen more mid level/low level talent guys starting for teams at RB

If the NFl were still running heavy I and pounding the rock, colleges would produce more talented RBS.

RBs and pitch counts don't mix...another reason the NFL sucks.

Yea I would give LF the edge for now, But Samaje put up 1800 yards last year as a true freshman LF is on pace to hit that so we will see...

yeah, the generational talent who is averaging over 200 yards a game is only a hair better than your teams dime a dozen rb... how convenient

8.7 YPC is barely better than 4.5 YPC

Let me know when he hits 1800 yards as a true freshman. He better hit 2000 this year if hes so much better...and OU had a passing game last year too...Unlike the corndogs. A lot of RBs have done what hes doing or better recently the only reason hes considered so legendary is SECSECSEC

Who cares?

72 328 2TDs

BARELY edged out by

99 864 11TDs

Again...

I don't even like LSU. I don't care that what you said is profoundly stupid. I just love what some people can convince themselves of

Perine was not the starter until the 4th game of the season bro henc true freshman. The fact is several backs have been just as good as this dude over the years. Hell Wisconsin just sent one to the NFL..

Which is why Herschel came out and said Leonard is a better back then he was. Yeah, several backs over the years have received praise like LF has.

Wait, no they haven't

AP is, was and always will be a better back lmao....LF didn't do anything last year and hes racked up some good games against mediocre teams. Ill wait to see what he does when he plays a defense with a pulse before comparing him to first rounders....

Why do you keep talking about last year? No one cares.

perine isn't even in the same stratosphere as LF this year.

Seriously, Leonard fournette has probably had a more impressive season than Perine on negated runs alone
