November 15,1969: Ole Miss 38 #4 Tennessee 0. Worst margin of loss ever by the SEC Champion that year. In the spirit of fairness I wanted to throw Ole Miss a bone.

I was one of the Boy Scout ushers. Got in for free. Sat in the grass in the end zone for the game.

Recurring theme with Ole Miss. They can beat Champions, but they can't be them. Gotta be frustrating as all hell.

Unfortunately for OM fans, the football Gods do not believe in the spirit of fairness.
In true OM fashion, the Elderly Plantation Wives (Ole Miss) managed to lose to Houston and Kentucky that very same year.

The guy at QB (Archie) lost 7 games in his last two years and did not win any title.
For comparison, Jordan Jefferson only lost 3 games his last two years and won the SEC championship.

That was a heckuva team. Just ask any Auburn fan about the 1969 Houston team.

This was the same season that South Carolina was ranked #1 in basketball some of the season and lost the ACC Tournament final and didn't go to the NCAA's.
