He's 3 years in and only competitive against scrubs

Barbee left Pearl with one player worth a D1 scholarship, KT Harrell who was a senior in Pearl's first year, and Pearl couldn't even recruit players himself until right before the season started.

Year 2 he had 2 players left from Barbee, and played the last half of the SEC schedule with 7 scholarship players

Because of the severe lack of players worth anything he had to rely heavily on JUCO and grad transfers just to field a roster. That's why we're starting 4 freshman right now. If you can't see how that is a multi-year job then you're stupid or a troll, or more likely both.
