Did Mississippi State fire him or did he leave on his own? I remember Jackie Sherrill wanted him on the sideline but he refused & called plays from the press box but can't remember exactly why he left Starkville.

Did he have more than one stint? Bryant hired him from State. Was on his last staff in 1982. Also was OC under Dubose in 1997.

Yeah he's been fired a shite ton of times. Which is hilarious looking at how successful he is now with the Cards.
