One week Bret squeaks by Louisana Tech the next week they go on the road and beat TCU. Isn't that very Tubervilleish? They also have a similar W/L record in the same time as SEC coaches Tubs was 22-16 Bret is 20-20. I'm not trolling Hog fans I think it's a interesting comparison. If Bret at Arkanasas can do some of the things Tubs did at Auburn y'all are in for a fun but frustrating ride over the next few years.

Nutt.

Wins big games against better teams and suffers at least one or two WTF losses every year.

That is also Tubbs

Not a bad comparison. Will be interesting to see what happens over the next few years if they stay with him.

Bert shite himself when they kicked it right to that guy who'd been burning them all game.

Then his post game was a dweebish announcement that the boys can wear sweats on the bus.

Guy is a joke.

Tubs was damn good on the road too. We'd lay at least one egg a year against vastly inferior competition - usually at home. At least that's the way I remember it.

One difference I see is that Bert's been building year on top of year whereas Tubs had success early and was all over the map after a few years. We are still seeing some WTF performances, but this year the WTF is why LAT is within 1 point of us, rather than why is Toledo beating us? The talent and stability have improved from year to year. We still haven't seen 2016 pan out, so maybe a step backwards is still to come, but by all indications, each year has been an incremental step forward.

Tom Herman would be fricked tonight if Cincy had the same type of night atmosphere

i think they had that graphic on the screen the other night.

we've been in 6 since he's been here and we're 3-3, lost the first 3 and won the rest.

quote:

Arkansas is 12-6 all-time since overtime games began in 1996, but has been best when one overtime wasn't enough. The Razorbacks are now 8-1 in multi-overtime games, with seven straight wins. The only loss in such a game was in six overtimes at Tennessee in 2002. The Razorbacks are 2-0 in seven overtimes (NCAA record for longest game); 1-0 in four overtimes; 1-0 in three overtimes; and 4-0 in two overtimes.

If your team gets to OT with the Hogs you may as well just head for the exits pissed off because the win is theirs.

Ironically, that oh-so underused retort is your safe space.

It's comfortable. It's easy. It's all ya got.
