It's just unreal.

For comparison, the SEC leaders the last few years.
Alonso - .659
Benintendi - .717
Reed - .735 (led the nation)
Mason - .642 (Kris Bryant had .820 that year)
Zunino - .669

Dang, Deichmann is currently at .669 which would have led or tied for lead 3 of last 5 years.

Yep,and Rooker hasn't seen much to hit since then. If he could get Mangum to take a walk every now and then (ever) he could see better pitches.

I am hoping for some regression to the mean in our series.

There has been some small regressing as of late...however he rebounded against Auburn and had a huge series in-spite of our loss. I have noticed him pulling his head off the ball lately and swinging at air. He's forcing himself instead of being patient and watching the ball all the way to the bat. The attention has definitely had a small effect on him.

Hope the Braves draft him, braves have been stocking up on pitching for 3 drafts. Need an all league type hitter. He's number 1 on my chart if I'm in any top 5 draft position

How many times did Auburn walk Rooker? Outside of him, the left fielder, and Mangum MSU's lineup is pretty pedestrian. Don't walk guys and you can let Rooker hit solo bombs all day long

Well, before y'all hit our 9 hole hitter batting .318, we had 5 batting over .300. I hear he is out for awhile but can't confirm. Plus, we are #2 in the SEC in batting average so the other 12 teams must be tortuous if we are pedestrian.
