Breakout players can be defined as guys not picked on All-SEC team that end up on one or have a season worthy of it. I'm going to exclude OL because let's be honest, none of us know.
QB - Nick Fitzgerald (Miss State)
RB - Jovon Robinson (Auburn)
WR - Robert Foster (Alabama)
TE - Jeremy Sprinkle (Arkansas)
DL - Trent Thompson (Georgia)
LB - Darren Kirkland (Tennessee)
S - Tony Conner (Ole Miss)
CB - Marlon Humphrey (Alabama)

Would argue that Kirkland broke out the 2nd half of last season. Gimme Preston Williams

Yea, agree, but he isn't a household name and won't be on any preseason all-conference lists I wouldn't think.

Probably not. You think Robert Foster will get enough touches to have an all Sec season?

I think he'll be the Co-#1 guy and would have been the #1 guy all of last season if he hadn't gotten hurt (may have held down Ridley's breakout season a bit).
But, due to Howard/Ridley and even Dieter/Stewart his numbers probably won't be eye-popping. So that could hurt him in postseason award type stuff.

Tony Conner is a stud. If he can stay healthy this season, he'll no doubt be playing on Sundays next year. He would probably be playing on Sundays this year if he wasn't hurt last season.

Agreed - he will make lots and lots of money

I think/hope the college football world will know who Michael Divinity and Devin White are for LSU fairly early in the season.

I think SC may have 2:
QB - Brandon McIlwain , SC
WR - Bryan Edwards - SC

Why would Tony Connor be Breakout? I thought he was a projected 1st rounder or is this any case of Ole Miss Spin?

I think Connor has already broken out.

Yea, but he ended up being hurt and only playing a few games last season.
But you guys are probably right.

I can't see Foster having more than 700+ receiving yards with all the others vying for receptions as well. So I don't see him even being an all-SEC.

Very risky choosing Mississippi State's new quarterback. I guess Mullen does do pretty well with his Qb's though. Solid list.

Yea, honestly, not a lot of options and they all had question marks.

Yeah he broke out like Johnny Football's face at the Heisman ceremony.

McTelvin Agim is going to get a lot of playing time at DE. Not sure who all is new at DE in the conference but he's going to be pretty good.

Rashaun Gaulden at S is certainly a candidate. Expect Thompson to have a monster year.
Solid list overall
