I just heard that on ESPN radio. Florida, LSU and the SEC in an emergency meeting at 9.

Florida was given a chance to do the right thing and failed. Now the adults are stepping in.

That's fine. Move it to Tampa? Just play the game. A cancelled game would really benefit Florida in the East standings, but hurt them in revenue.

There has to be a neutral site that can step up. I know it's hard, but it's not THAT hard if you are proactive.

Yep I agree. I don't give a shite where the game is played, I just want it played and not canceled. I even heard they might play the game in an empty stadium. As crazy as that sounds I heard it has been done before. This way you putting no fans in harms way and you don't have to field a staff for the game.

at the thought that people are dumb enough to think that Florida could move an SEC game without SEC approval.

These are the same people who believed Mac exhausted valuable practice time on Wednesday threatening to cancel the game rather than have it moved to BR. Seriously they believe that.

Perhaps the game could be moved to the venue for the Senior Bowl in Alabama. Just get the game in. Or maybe move the game to Sunday? Monday?

Nah dude, this is to decide what is best for Bama. Dont you listen to the LSU fambase?
Here is a sampling from that lovely fanbase.

They are meeting at nine to decide on what is best for Bama.

Yes, but playing the game is not in the best interests of the University of Alabama.

Greg Sankey has his head buried in the Alabama sand and is not a leader. Vote for me for SEC Commish

quote:

The sec and the gumps don't wont game to be played so it can benefit them at the end of season!!u can bank that they are in on this!!

quote:

Complete speculation...

I'm making some assumptions here as well

Specifically:

- There is a real Bama bias in the SEC offices
