SEC ALL UP IN DIS CONSOLATION TOURNEY

NIT Bracketology

1. Georgia
3. Ole Miss
4. Alabama
7. Texas A&M

Considered (But Unlikely) : Auburn

Also, Tennessee is ineligible as they did not finish with a winning record (15-16 vs D1, 16-16 overall).

Georgia, Bama, and Ole Miss are locks for the NIT. I would be surprised if another SEC team makes it. If Texas A&M or Auburn makes it it just shows how bad the bubble has been this year. Also means a lot of conference season champs lost in their conference tournament.

Terrible. The NIT in itself is embarrassing.

The NIT gives more practice time and at least another game for young players. It's about the same as a 7-5 team going to a bowl game.

Not nearly as different as you'd suggest, considering a SR Hobbs is more valuable than any AU player

Glad half full: that is actually substantial improvement for our program.

Wow. UT went from a consensus NCAA Bubble team to not even NIT eligible at record speed. The losses to Chattanooga and LSU proved to be quite the difference in their season.

How about Missouri?? Their fans seem pretty cocksure lately
