How did it take till the third page for someone to point that out?

i cant really speak for others but i really mostly glossed over the OP. i think this is the 3rd brandon harris thread he's started since yesterday.

I'm guessing you're referring to the D.A. It doesn't require the aptitude of the others but you can't be a dumbass with the job. Maybe I could have picked something better like polymer and fiber engineer?

He has to make sure we know how good he will be. We have to know.

So since Cam Cameron can't make one of the worst QB's in history good he can't with Harris?
But freshman to sophomore jump? What about Jennings in that Arkansas game? Do I really need to go back and find swamp kitten posts about how a deep ball on blown coverage showed how amazing he was? Because I heard it like a million times.

So what I'm getting from the OP is "No Excuses". Fair enough.

People will get to see how good he is starting in two days. No need for your novel at this point

2. Intangibles: Kid has a rocket arm, can run, is extremely smart(based on grades etc)and has gained good weight. He has gone from 180 to 216....
Not that I disagree with anything you're saying, but these are actually "tangible" things.

None of this qualifies as evidence. At this point it is speculation. Don't get me wrong, he could be great. I will wait to see him play a few SEC games before I make that determination instead of some poster's opinion.
I tend to agree with our resident expert on all things Wofford related. He could be very good for LSU. He could be utter garbage. We will see soon enough.
You cannot swing a dead cat without hitting a failed 5 or 4 star recruit in the SEC after all.
Also the OP listed very tangible aspects as intangible... running ability, arm strength and such. Intangible: Unable to be touched or grasped, not having physical presence. Intangible assets are things like self confidence, leadership ability, and so on.
We will what the kid can do. If he plays well and LSU's defense doesn't collapse then the Tigers are certainly a danger to win the SEC and make the playoffs.

Im reserving judgment until 9 days from now. He really cant convince me that he is ready to be the man against McNeese. Although i suppose if he struggles he might convince me that he isnt.

Just because Jennings had a career high vs A&M doesn't mean he's not at the bottom of the history books.
In fairness, just about everyone had career days against our defense last year.

Non non-sequitur ... i.e. no kidding?
So...
- if the unproven QB turns out to play really well in every game, and...
- the defense line, ends, linebackers all turn out to be good in every game, and...
- The offensive line with two new starters and every player at a different spot turns out to be pretty good all of the time, and...
- the rest of the team turns out to be really good all of the time, and ...
- and the whole team plays really well all of the time, and ...
- the coaching staff makes all the right personnel decisions, and calls all the right plays at the right time, and doesn't muff the use of time-outs, doesn't spike the ball at the wrong time, etc., then...
They will make the playoffs?
In that case, I agree...

Pocic actually played a good deal of Center last year.

I was going to start a thread today asking LSU fans not to start threads predicting world domination after we crush McNeese, but it's already too late apparently.
