On a scale of 1-10 (10 being absolutely), rate each teams chances at bowl eligibility. Also How many from each division do you have going to a bowl? All 7 in the West again?

East

Georgia
Missouri
Florida
South Carolina
Kentucky
Vanderbilt
Tennessee

West

Alabama
Auburn
Texas A&M
Arkansas
LSU
Ole Miss
Miss St.

West:

Alabama - 10
Auburn - 10
Arkansas - 7 (this is their season to make noise, but do they get it done?)
LSU - 6 (QB play?)
Miss. State - 5
A&M - 7
Ole Miss - 8

I think 6 out of the division should make it to a bowl game. We are only talking about 6 wins.

East:

Vandy - 0
TN - 10
GA - 10
Missouri - 10
South Carolina - 5
Florida - 4
Kentucky - 6

If LSU can't win at least 2 more games to become bowl eligible, Les Miles will be fired, IMO. Even with our "QB play".

All 7 West teams get bowl eligible. 12 teams total.

ETA: Kentucky will probably be 5-6 heading into the Louisville game. IDK anything about Louisville. If they can beat them, then maybe 13.

East

Georgia-10 (a couple of ?'s on the team but Chubb and a solid defensive unit should see The Dawgs easily to a bowl game)
Missouri-8
Florida-6 (Talented team but a brand new OL and Head Coach, not always a recipe for success)
South Carolina-7 (I think they'll be better than last year, it just rides on if the D can improve and how much, as well as how the new QB settles in)
Kentucky-5 (If they can pull a couple of upsets, they're in)
Vanderbilt-1
Tennessee-8 (everything hinges on their OL. If it's hot shite again then UT could be in for a long season, but it's a longshot with their skill players)

West

Alabama-10
Auburn-10 (With Duke on the team, could go down depending on the outcome. I'm figuring he'll be back)
Texas A&M-6
Arkansas-7
LSU-9 (even if the QB play is utter shite, D and the running game will get LSU to a bowl)
Ole Miss-7
Miss St.-5 (MSU is a solid team and I'd put them at a 8 or 9 if they were in the East, but the West is just a bear right now.

I think we send 12 teams bowling.

Hard to assign specific probabilities, but it's certainly possible that someone in the West could go 2-6 or even 1-7 in conference play and not even be invited to Birmingham.

I agree with this. I just don't see all 7 in one division bowling, last year was an anomaly.

It only takes a 6-6 record to get bowl eligible, meaning you can hypothetically go 2-6 in the SEC and still get bowl eligible.

That's a very low bar to cross. Simply making a bowl isn't what it used to be.

I can see everybody outside of Vandy getting there, and even they hypothetically could.

East - 5 out of 7 go bowling.

Georgia - 9 - bowling shouldn't be an issue
Missouri - 9 - same
Florida - 5 - tough OOC with Florida St and East Carolina. Both could be losses. Ole Miss and LSU from West. Would be huge to be bowl eligible.
South Carolina - 5 - Does the OBC still have it? Pretty much the same story as Florida. Three tough OOC games with North Carolina, UCF, and Clemson. A&M and LSU from West. Will be a tough test for Gamecock fans.
Kentucky - 5 - 8 home games is a huge boost. 1 tough OOC game with Louisville. Should have 3 OOC wins. Need 3 more between louisville and 8 sec games
Vanderbilt - 1 - Nope.
Tennessee - 6 - Oklahoma game is huge by all accounts. Tough draw from west with Alabama and Arkansas.

West 6 out of 7 go bowling.

Alabama - 10 - Nick Saban.
Auburn - 9 - The Gus Bus adds Boom.
Texas A&M - 5 - Call me crazy, but I see A&M getting beat this season. Arizona St. Week 1. Do get Vandy...which might be the lucky #6.
Arkansas - 7 - Bert has them on the way up. Were a few plays from 9 wins last season. Should win all 4 OOC. Tenn and Mizzou from the East. I got Bert for 8 wins this year.
LSU - 8 - Where there is no QB, there will be doubt. Easy OOC though. So 6 shouldn't really be a problem.
Ole Miss - 6 - No mo Bo. Is Swag Kelly ready? Pretty easy non-con, although @Memphis is an upset alert. Vandy and Florida from east.
Miss St. - 6 - Pray Dak stays healthy. Easiest OOC schedule by far. Kentucky and Mizzou from the east. Kentucky and OOC makes 5 wins. Just need 1 more.
