maybe, just maybe, our coaches actually know what's coming and aren't actually worried.

What the frick else would they do, stop recruiting altogether? Freeze resigns and turns state's evidence?

It's more likely that they know what's coming and are staying the course knowing that, if by some hail mary miracle they manage to pull an Auburn, they'll have a recruiting class waiting in the wings.

They came because nothing happened yet, and more importantly you guys are brazenly cheating.

Like I said, that's going to stop no matter what penalties come.

Cool. Keep paying them and winning games. Just like everyone else does.

I bet they're going to make OM tear down the new Tad Pad and halt construction on the football stadium expansion. They'll then have to donate all the money they were making/using on those projects to the other SEC schools so we can buy lobster dinners for all of our athletes.

Fair is fair.

Shea Patterson's brother, whose job it is to know these things, let his brother sign and enroll early even knowing what was coming? Please.

As long as there is a NOA and there hasn't been a response nor been ruled on the investigation is "on-going".

Maybe Shea Patterson's brother's employment should be reconsidered?

So Ole Miss is going to continue cheating at historic levels with the NCAA crawling around their a-hole?

Guarantee his brother could get a job on any staff in the country if it meant they got Shea. So it's not like he went here just to save his brother's job.

Why wouldn't we? Especially if the violations aren't even recruiting related (which is what is rumored)

It's also entirely possible that Shea Patterson's brother realizes that Shea Patterson stands the possibility to transfer out penalty-free if the hammer comes down and just played y'all for a payday.

Consider all the angles, not just the one which fits the scenario you really want to believe is true.

If it was so bad then how come the recruits we just signed don't seem worried or our coaching staff?

Because Rev. Freeze lies straight to their face like he did the the rest of the country???

Throw in the fact that they just signed another Top 5 class and things may get even more interesting.

Freeze and co. should've been a little more discreet about it.... It's a little hard for most average people to believe that a bunch 17-18 year old guys suddenly find Mississippi to be an attractive place to live and go to school, AND those guys just so happen to be pretty highly ranked football players.

99% of the rant needs to think this way. One anonymous source says 13 violations are football related and all of a sudden it's "Ole Miss getting the death penalty!!!"

Like I said, we can all hope you do.

Keep fricking with the NCAA, man. Ole Miss is exactly the type of program they will make an example of. High enough profile to make noise, but not high enough to damage the sport as a whole.

Of course though, your staff and AD aren't that stupid. They'll reign themselves in.

I guarantee you that the only people with enough true emotional investment in the outcome of this thing to hope for a specific scenario are Ole Miss fans.

Everyone else is trolling the frick out of y'all because you're all obnoxious and shitty.
