Bull-Fing-shite...

Any fan from any struggling fan base would crawl naked on broken glass to have a shot at having a program like Alabama and currently Clemson.

You can fool your self, but you just acknowledge exactly what the point is..You are content with mediocrity because it's just "a game"

Right now, Clemson, Bama and maybe the two Oklahoma teams are in a different zip code than everyone else. UGA is not a national contender, but we have a good shot at the East. I think it will come down to Jacksonville.

If you want my honest opinion, there is a fundamental difference between our big boosters and yours. Clemson's big boosters want to win. If it means not giving money or not showing up to games if you're having a losing season, you'll do it. South Carolina's big boosters want influence. They want to be close to the folks in the athletic department, so they show up every week and still give money regardless of the product on the field. I quit going to the Horry-Georgetown Gamecock Club meetings around here for a time because it was the same filthy rich alums arse kissing the coaches and Tanner.

No, not really.

It is like the Clemson fan who admitted that he watched the SC-Kentucky game on Sunday.

People who take time out of their day to watch a rival's game the day after it happened or say that they'd crawl over naked on broken glass to see a win are just weird. It is as weird as a university worshiping a guy who liked to lynch minorities.

I think UGA is really close to taking the program to the next level. You have a hungry fan base and Smart seem's to be putting all of the right pieces in place. In the next few years I expect the Dawgs will be the Dom and the Coots still the submissive along with the rest of the SEC East

The first Scar fans that commented on this thread didn't say anything about the shooting or any of that stuff, that came along later

It was in the OP

And they got see, in no particular order of embarrassment:

UK beat the shite out of USCe
A DJ
Three of the four brand-new flamethrowers go tits-up
The team captains refuse to shake the opponens' hands
Boom "encourages" a committed player to look elsewhere
The vaunted USCe fan base boo their own players
That same fan base leaving by the thousands in the 3rd
Xavier Thomas clown said fan base
A gang shootout in The Vista (hopefully didn't actually see this)
Willie B's shitters quit (the bathrooms, not the team)

Did I miss anything?

#neveragain

The point being people in real life (who happened to also be SEC fans) were shot in the incident and OP should have omitted it from the OP in the first place. The simple solution is to put yourself in the other persons place and imagine it was you, your team, or people you knew. If you would leave it out, then it should have been left out in this OP. If you leave it in, then you show you are an insensitive prick and should be called out for it.

This may come as a bit of a shock to you, but I am a fan of college football and will watch as many games as I am able to. I watch the 1st 30 minutes of the UK-SC game and watch bouncing back and forth between commercials. I pay particular attention to any team on our schedule and how it could impact us.

You only watch coot games?..Please tell me you watch more than that..there are some really good games around the nation.

I hope you are right. We do need to be patient with Kirby, like y'all were with Dabo. He is building an empire right now, and I bet Clemson was very close to firing him after 5IAR by the Gamecocks. That loyalty probably means he will never leave Clemson.

What kept Dabo going was that while the Coots were beating us on that 5 year stretch, we were winning the league, attenuating BCS bowls and beating teams like LSU and Ohio State and posting 10 plus win seasons.

That sure made the sting of losing to SC not so painful.

Why did you assume I was talking about you?

That Clemson victim mentality strikes again.

When is SEC going to step in and start disciplining pregame issues. USC and UK was just poor sportsmanship. Miss St Simmons acting stupid pregame.

Fights in USC before game.
Fights and stabbing before LSU game.

SEC football games used to be about family and taking the kids, now, it's about who can get drunk the fastest and it's become a sideshow to the game itself. ESPN Gameday is stupid to watch with ridiculous signs. Finebaum is stupid to watch on SEC Nation.

They are slowly losing their fanbase and the pageantry college football used to be is slowly going away.

Good post...this is similar to the Power brokers in the GOP and Democratic party really calling the shots with absolutely no regard for the average people.

Not to get political because it doesn't matter, but Trump was able to bypass the power brokers and show that the people really can effect change if they want to.

Your fan base can change that football program if your are willing to do the hard thing like the last time we played at Willie B and it looked like a Clemson Home game....It was embarrassing as a fan base but it makes a helluva statement to the leadership.

Pretty much.

Thinking about it,... I literally cannot remember watching a Clemson game ever, if they weren't playing the Gamecocks.

Used to be harder to watch games on TV. Usually just two games on Saturday for college, and the bowl games.

But I literally cannot remember just watching a game Clemson has played against anyone but us.

No wait, I distinctly remember watching at least two games in the Danny Ford era. FSU and one Georgia game. Other than those two, I got nothin.

So Clemson plays in the National Title game two years in a row. Wins it all last year. Beat the Hell out of Louisville on Saturday.

...but you're hanging out on an SEC message board posting about an in state rival.

You've got self esteem issues beyond counseling and medication.

Nope. I have to have an interest in one of the teams to watch it.

I watched Oregon/Auburn because I wanted to see how Oregon would do against them.

Watched Tebow win a couple of titles.

Before him, I dunno Maybe the Miami win circa 2001 or so? Not sure why I watched that one, since I didn't like Miami.

Used to watch a lot of games, particularly the bowls. But as time went by I had less and less interest in the personalites around the teams. Osborne goes, and Bill Snyder's are few and far between. All Pete Carroll's and Nicky Sabans and Urban Meyers - Oh My!

Note: No way I would ever watch a Meyer team play without Saint Tim on the team.

I would be offended if none of you responded. I can always counts on a few off-the-mark insults from ol' Trashmouth, and when Rooster isn't shitting his Depends, he's usually good for a nice insult.

And of course I can count on you to show your arse.
