Kid was a rookie last year. He came out of a spread O. Give him some time.

I definitely like the pick. He goes into an organization with no "true" starter. I hope Elway sits him down and heck even bring in his uncle in the meeting, and lay it out. Like here's the line, you cross this you're gone. Get it into his head that this is his last chance at success in football and make a believer out of him. Make him humble when he walks in the QB room, because the other two they have are laid back guys and we don't need Kelly to walk in and stir crap up. Just to go in learn as much as he can and stay humble, then we may actually see him starting soon. He went to the perfect place. And to the rest of the SEC players drafted, good luck reaching your goals.

If he stays away from the booze and drugs and works hard then everyone will regret not drafting the young man. He has the tools to be an elite football player on that level.

Sending Kelly to Denver is like sending a fat diabetic kid to a chocolate factory. its not going to end well.

Has Mr Irrelevant ever been injured while drafted? I think he is a steal if he can completely rehab and get into summer camp on time. I would like to see him make a team and come along slowly.

Kelly is garbage. Lol at people thinking he only fell because of his character issues. Look at the other trash that gets drafted in higher rounds

Chad Kelly had two TDs passing, one rushing and blew out State in his only Egg Bowl on Dak's senior night. And that was a down night for him production wise. If he's a train wreck, then how do you explain that?

What he did in one game vs State doesnt matter. Its the body of work. He is not very intelligent and gets into episode after episode. Whether it's threatening coaches at Clemson, threatening bouncers and police at a bar, storming the field to fight 16 year olds at a HS game, or all the garbage East Mississippi and Ole Miss covered up- the guy is a trainwreck.

Sending him somewhere weed is legal but not on NFL drug tests wont help his cause either.

Chad kelley will win the starting job in Denver

I think it's a lock if he heals properly and stays out of trouble.

He pans out and John Elway looks like a genius. He busts and no one says a word because he was a clearance sale pick anyway. He was the display model. Last one on the shelf.

I don't think he busts.

I'll be perfectly honest with you. After watching Chad for the last two years and seeing his determination, his fight and his will to put a game on his shoulders and win it with his arm or legs .... I would pick him 100 times out of 100 if I could go back and pick between him and Trubisky... Dude is a bonafide badass and has the "it" factor you want on your team..

I would not be surprised at ALL if he get on the field at Denver. And if he does you will have to carry him off on a stretcher to get him off..

All the talent in the world cannot make a QB out of a total idiot. How did Ole Miss not win more games?

agree, Elway and Jim Kelly are tight.. definitely CK's best scenario for success.

Most all the naysayers are Miss. State people (I use that word kindly). Why does what happens to Chad Kelly interest you types so very much? Get a life. Why would you root against anybody being successful. It's obvious that's exactly what you are doing. Being indifferent is one thing, but obviously rooting against is another. What a pathetic lot.

Member when Dak fell to the 4th round because of off the field issues? He was beaten to a pulp by a kid from Tenn. and then had the DUI the week or so before the draft.

And Tunsil also fell.

Chad Kelly isn't at Ole Miss anymore. You can stop supporting him now.
