Has there been another average basketball coach retread that has caused this much excitement in one fan base?
I can't think of one. Pearl maybe?
This seems like a gamble at best for the Mizzou fans. They are using the UToof tactics of crazy shite posting to out UToof UToof.
It will be interesting to see if it works out for them or if they just look like UToof fans with more teeth at the end of the day.
Counzo though? Damn, that's some boring arse basketball.
We brought you guys in to lift up basketball and you give us Counzo?

I think the excitement has more to do with the fact that we now have a very good chance to land the #1 player in the country in Michael Porter Jr.

The number 1 player in the country will score 18-22 points a game and then leave after 1 year though.

The excitement is understandable. I'd be tickled too. New hire package deals are merely shot in the arm antidotes that accelerate the recovery. Cuonzo is going to have to coach well if Mizzou is going to sustain the momentum. His resume suggests he has merely fallen up the ladder so we will see..
