Said good young coach would crawl to Ole Miss for $2 million.

I agree.

That isn't a good point. It's stupid and wrong.

A young long shot coach? Sure. Young and GOOD coaches are a hot commodity.

I'll do it for $750,000 and I'll put it in my contract that I'll refund my entire salary if my record is worse than Ed Orgeron's when he was coach there.

Nobody worth a shite is going to touch Ole Miss until the NCAA has its way with them and there are enough scraps left to reassemble the program

Would they really though? The NCAA sanctions are going to ruin recruiting for a long time. What promising young coach is going to crawl to a job that he has no chance of winning at?

He doesn't live in the state of Mississippi then, he lives in the state of Denial.

Define good young coach? If I was a well-paid coordinator at a major school (Pruitt, Aranda, etc.), I wouldn't take it.

Exactly.

Some people have short memories. Most of us know what kind of coach you get when you conduct a search after spring practice.

No up and coming coach is going to touch this job. It will literally kill their climb up the ranks to an elite job.

It's cute that Bo Bounds believes there will be football in Oxford in 2018.

Am curious to see if the Black Bears now throw in the towel to the NCAA's & take their medicine. I know this is, at this point anyway, not related to any NCAA violations, but a lot of the Black Bears' defense was on HF's "credibility" such as it was. They would be crazy to let this drag on & on, easily into 2018 if there is an appeal. No one's going to apply till he knows the state of the program. Time to move on, bite the bullet & get the clock running on probation.

Not w/all those sanctions looming over their heads. They're going to end up w/a G5 HC that has no other options. Probably somebody like Mark Hudspeth.
