Most people don't mess with Texas. Texas doesn't mess with Bill Snyder.

And won the Texas Bowl.

What he's accomplished at KSU is simply amazing.

Take away Snyder's first season in 1989 when he went a very KSU-like 1-10, his record as their HC is 201-95-1 (.678). The Wildcats have appeared in 18 bowls in his 25 seasons in Manhattan.

In contrast, KSU's record in the rest of their gridiron history (including his first year) is 318-54-40 (.376). In 97 seasons of playing football, they were invited to exactly 2 bowls (1982 and 2006).

Dude may really be a wizard.

He's great, no doubt.

Also worth noting, is when he left they fell off heavily, then he turned them around for a second time.

Wonder how many titles he'd have if he'd been at a blue blood?
