What he's accomplished at KSU is simply amazing.
Take away Snyder's first season in 1989 when he went a very KSU-like 1-10, his record as their HC is 201-95-1 (.678). The Wildcats have appeared in 18 bowls in his 25 seasons in Manhattan.
In contrast, KSU's record in the rest of their gridiron history (including his first year) is 318-54-40 (.376). In 97 seasons of playing football, they were invited to exactly 2 bowls (1982 and 2006).
