Wouldn't mind. Pitched here at Bama durng one of our good runs, obviously part of a great program at LSU noa, and still fairly young.

If you guys get Dunn, that will make three coaches in a row that have an LSU connection. You know a good program when you see one.

Would be a really good hire. The guy at Louisville would be good hire as well.

I'm just hoping you guys go with Matt Heath, Javi Sanchez, or Smoke Laval.

Dunn has never been a head coach and I don't think he does all that much recruiting. The Bama connection is about all he has going for him. I don't think LSU fans would be all that torn up over him leaving for an HC gig, supposedly him and pawl butt heads a lot, and Cannizaro is the fan favorite.

Pretty good connection with Northwestern too, I think. So maybe Lane Burroughs will be their next coach.

I'm not sure why all of a sudden LSU fans are acting like Dunn isn't integral to what we do. He's a great coach. Losing him would suck. The good news is he has never shown any interest in being the head guy.

It is very rare to find a coach who doesn't want to be a HC. What is he making at LSU? 100k? He'll get 5x that at Bama.

I don't know, but I really don't necessarily agree with Battle that we need someone with an Alabama connection. You want the best HC available period.

There's a difference between wanting something to happen and not being surprised by it. Losing coaches always sucks, and he's great at his job. Still, if there's one I wouldn't be shocked to see go its the guy with the great track record for developing arms who has been seen arguing with the head coach in the dugout.
