My vote goes to Duke Riley (LSU LB) getting picked before bama LB, tim Williams.

Duke was a four year ST demon and one year starter.

tim williams was rated as the most efficient defensive player in college football after his JR season in '15. Some had him as the first pick in the '17 draft going into his SR season.

Second season in a row tigers have a fist year SR starter at LB blow up and get drafted fairly high.

Remember the name Donnie Alexander. He follows the likes of Debo Jones and Duke Riley. Special teams leader his whole career and first time starter at LB his SR season. Plus, all three from New Orleans.

Will be interesting to see how well Aranda develops him.

I don't think that's close to the biggest surprise. There were quite a few but to me it's the Bears trading up with nobody going after Mitch and taking him at 2 while giving away a ton. I have no clue how that happened.

The second biggest surprise was an orangutan drafting for Indy. That was not on anyone's mock draft.

I was kind of surprised that a small shoulder issue cost Jon Allen a top 5 or 10 pick but there are bigger surprises than where Tim was picked.

I was surprised that in the 2nd round, chicago drafted a TE from a D2 school (ashland) right down the road from me

Teams wasting picks in the middle to late rounds on any Michigan player that had a significant role on the team. I understand UM had a good team but in no way should they have led in picks. That's called "I think he must be good because Harbaugh played him, and Harbaugh dominated me when he was a Pro coach"

Even though he fumbled the process, Reuben Foster falling to 31 is my biggest surprise. He's definitely a top 10 talent.

Tim Williams? 2 bullets, 2 kids, 2 suspensions - too high.

When they make you pee in a cup, those Little Nicky boys drop. How much money has Little Nicky's boy's lost because there is ZERO discipline in the program?

Local radio guys had mentioned him once or twice as a local kid from small school who could get drafted late but 2nd round was shocking.

I agree. They made some weird moves. Pass on OJ Howard to draft Adoree Jackson, trade up in the second round to get a receiver from Western Kentucky, then draft a tight end in the 3rd round.

That's your biggest surprise? That's just something in your eyes. No one cares that he got drafted before Williams. It was also pretty common knowledge that Williams wouldn't get picked anywhere close to the 1st round.
