Coker (UA) - Co-1st Team
Adams and Jones (AU and Miss. St.) - 2nd String
Fournette (LSU) - 3rd String

I'll go with Jones. Miss St. fans were arguing he was the top DL in the SEC this year and he can't even crack first string on that roster. Same goes for Adams.

On their official depth chart.

eta: FWIW he's still the best DL on that team IMO. Not sure what Dan is playing at.

Adams on 2nd team isn't really that surprising. He never started last year. We rotate a lot so he's still getting plenty of playing time

Depth chart for Auburn's dl is meaningless. I suspect this is more of a tip of the cap to hard working seniors. I bet Monty is in late when the game matters most.

I would be willing to bet all these depth charts that are coming out don't mean anything. Les miles said in his press conference Monday he doesn't know where that depth chart came from because he hasn't made one yet. And all the guys you posted about will most likely be starters at some point this year so I wouldn't read too much into depth charts.

UGA's all american mlb is listed 2nd on the depth chart. I would say that is surprising. Ramik Wilson is the mlb that I'm speaking of.

State and AU have very good DT's that have experience and play hard every down. Then on big play down you bring in the super stars (Jones & Adams). It's a situation where both teams have incredible depth and big guys who are much better in snap one compared to snap 3 in a row.

How stupid are you? Seriously?

The two defensive tackles he was competing to start against were both very highly rated 4 star recruits, both with double digit starts at AU.

You think it is the biggest surprise in the SEC this year that a true sophomore did not beat out a pair of experienced seniors with over 40 career starts who have appeared in over 50 games at AU at the same position under their belt?

Do you even watch college football?

Agree with this as well. Both Whitaker and Blackson have started 2 full seasons apiece at DT and Whitaker also played in all 14 games in the season he did not start. And they are both seniors.

They get the nod to start, but we rotate so much it doesn't even mean they will get the most snaps.

LSU has two senior RB's who are pretty damn good.... No way Miles would list LF ahead of them. All three will get plenty of carries....which we have always expected.

To their own fanbase it has to be Coker. They still can't bring themselves to not mention 1st team when taking about him. A Heisman hopeful to Blake Sims' equal is so surprising is caused this thread and numerous other threads.
