What a shame to see how Oklahoma has fallen.

THIRD!?
We better find some more national championships before they do the next one.

Two National Titles, 3 SEC titles, most wins of the decade for a power 5 school and LSU is ranked 6th on the list.

quote:Did you miss the part where this is an All-Time ranking? LSU was largely mediocre pre-saban. I imagine the success under Broyles, Hatfield, and Holtz plus the recent emergence of the Petrino years coupled with the tremendous upswing of the program currently gave us our ranking. This made me research. I had forgotten what a monster Arkansas was from the 60's to the 80's. The three coaches during that time frame had a combined 259-96 record. That means the average record of those 31 years was 8-3. That's pretty legit.
most wins of the decade

I just realized this was AP rankings.
Therefore they only factored in 1 NC in the 2000s due to the split horseshite with USC.
List is shite.
Carry on.

Then when you click on the link which says "2000s" it gives you the rankings of that decade. But that's OK; as someone from Arkansas, you're probably not adept at reading anything other than the menu at Applebee's.

In your dreams. LSU was a higher ranked program all-time than Arkansas before Saban ever got here. Yes, we've moved up the list in this millenium (unduly low on this list IMO), but we were always a top 10-15 program even before he got here.

quote:You should probably specify since the link directly links the all-time rankings. However, I'm not surprised an LSU fan doesn't know how to accurately convey a point via words. Cajun utterances come more naturally to you.

quote:I seriously doubt it. Look at the decade by decade rankings. Both LSU and Arkansas had their success at roughly the same time. LSU was better in the 30's but the rises and falls of each program came at about the same time, but Arkansas had more success from 60-80. In the 90's both were down. LSU only pulls ahead in 2000, when Saban got there. Since then there's no question LSU has had more success and that's the difference.
