He's got a decent paycheck, and a couple of years of job security, but watch him in action. His words betray his true feelings--he's picking up a paycheck.

A valid move on his part, but I wonder what Arkansas is going to look like in two more years of Bielema recruiting.

I'm looking forward to 5 glorious years of Bert at Arkansas.

The rest of the SEC should pitch in to give him an extension.

He will fiscally rape Arkansas after several shitty seasons, then spend the rest of his days as some babysitter/ position coach for the Dallas Cowboys... ala Derek Dooley.

Wisconsin was probably the happiest fan base I have ever seen to have their coach hired away.

I bet, now they get to lose Capital One bowls instead of Rose Bowls. And conference championships? overrated.

but seriously they should be thrilled

All fanbases act like they're happy when their coach gets stolen away.

They liked the Rose Bowls, hated BB's botched clock management and shitty play calling that cost them two Rose Bowl wins.

so they like losing Cap One bowls instead?

they won't sniff the RB with Ohio St and Mich St, hell even Penn State. any fan that says they are ecstatic when one of their most successful coaches of all time leaves is bitter, period.

Good thing they don't play any of those teams this year, then.

So they won't play for a conference championship?

You're kind of proving his point...but carry on

Dude's got the best gig in America as far as expectations and security. The Arkansas fans on this board will freely admit that they won't be calling for his head even if he goes 0-8 again this year.

How many people can say they make $3 million a year ($5.1 million last year) with perfect job security even if they don't succeed even one single time at doing what they are paid to do?

Dude's going to have made over $10 million at Arkansas before he even has to start sweating. That's amazing in so many ways. Every time an Arkansas fan cites their program prestige and expectations, we will forever more be able to point to 2013-2015 or so and prove it a lie. They could very well have a coach in 2015 who is 0-16 in SEC play and will be supporting him.

Amazing, and not a trolololol kind of amazing. That's genuinely fascinating to me.

Nah man, in the regular season. I'd actually book the Badgers for the championship game this season with their schedule. Would not at all be shocked to see them in the RB, although I honestly do think Michigan State is the best team in the league now.

At any rate, Wisconsin is going strong without BB.

What has BB accomplished in his new job?

This backwards logic is why Wisconsin fans are so special. They say Paul Chryst basically walks on water and is the only reason they were successful but then trot out these spectacular reasons as to why the lost the Rose Bowl. Pure brilliance.
