Andre Debose was at Florida for 8 years and could never put it together. He had incredible speed and moves but only knew how to run one route his entire career.

I heard he still has a year of eligibility left

The only reason Florida was in the game with LSU last year.

For the Gamecocks, I think the easiest one to say would be Stephen Garcia in 2010. The guy was an amazing Football player when he wasn't getting wasted. I still can't believe we beat Bama that year. Of course Lattimore was a big factor in that game, but still.

That season could've been legendary if we didn't give up games we should have won, and if we didn't have to face off against Cam Newton in the Championship Game. Totally got creamed there, haha.

For Florida it seems Cam Newton would be the easiest choice.

Russel Shepard if he would have been given chance to play QB

Ryan Perrilloux... had the most god-given skill I have ever seen from a LA quarterback, but the dude had the devil on his shoulder.

Reggie McNeal. One of the most gifted players I've ever seen, but poor coaching and the fact that he was a head case ruined him.

Through no fault of his own, Marcus Lattimore.

I'd also throw in Mike Davis. Great talent, could take over games at times, had a solid career, but there could've been more for sure.

Rueben Randle. Had great all around potential, but never seemed to have the extreme competitor aspects that are needed.

JUNIOR SEASON (2011)
Played in 14 games with 12 starts ... Earned first-team All-SEC honors ... Led the Tigers and ranked third in the SEC in receiving yards (917) and fifth in receptions (53) ... A deep threat every time he touched the football as he averaged 17.3 yards per catch.

That's with Lee and JJ throwing to him

2001. Best Florida team to not win a title. If FSU didn't go after Graham's leg(even bragging after about the cheap shots), we probably tar shell Tennessee. Graham was a monster that year. Then we would have met LSU who we destroyed earlier that season. Should have meet Miami in the title game. I don't think we beat them, but would have been a good game. Grossman was the best QB that year, so we always had a chance vs anyone

Nick Brassel would be playing in the defensive backfield of an NFL team right now.

Totally agree here. I was talking with a guy in football ops at Bama about 2 weeks before signing day that year. They had Brassel on campus and really felt he was going to sign with Bama. The staff told him that he would be All-SEC at DB, but he told them he really wanted to play WR.

Guy I know said they didn't want him as WR and didn't think any school would convince him to switch. If I remember correctly, he had someone in his ear telling him he was going to be an NFL WR and he bought that over the opinion of several coaches across SEC.

'06 Arky with McFadden, Hillis, Felix Jones, should have won the Natty. Houston Nutt fricked that all up.

I guess an argument could be made for Arian Foster, even though he is one of our all-time leading rushers.

There's a whole list of busts under Franfraud, but the one that sticks out to me the most...Jorrie Adams.

But perhaps the saddest story of all, Aaron Douglas.

A couple more to add to that list:

James Banks; Onterrio Smith

Tyrone Young. Had some great games but not consistent and not a hard worker, but extremely talented. He could have been one of the greatest WRs of all time. Played at UF in the late 70s and early 80's. 6'6" and could fly. Also played basketball at UF one season and was good at that as well. Just stupid natural talent.
